The Christian Charismatic Healing System

This website is dedicated to the examination of Pentecostal healing, a form of Christian charismatic healing.  The Pentecostal movement was and is a diverse and complex movement within Christianity that places special emphasis on a direct personal experience of God through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, has an eschatological focus, and is an experiential religion (definition by Wikipedia).  Pentecostals have several unique practices, the most well known of being that of glossolalia (speaking in tongues), healing by the laying on of hands, and rapturous spells believed to be caused by the Holy Spirit.  The healing that is practiced by ministers if the Pentecostal religion is performed through the faith of both the supplicant and the minister and by the power of God.  We hope that this website may help broaden the understanding of those who are interested in the intricacies of the Pentecostal faith healing system.
